In spring 2005, Simmons Jewelry Co. and Sanrio announced a co-branded jewelry licensing partnership. Designed by Kimora Lee Simmons and launched as the “Kimora Lee Simmons for Hello Kitty®” fine jewelry collection, at Neiman Marcus. The collection is targeted to women who grew up with Hello Kitty and have an emotional connection with the lovable little girl. The jewelry is comprised of precious metals, diamonds and gemstones. The collection has been seen on the wrists, fingers and around the neck of some of the world’s most celebrated personalities including: Dakota Fanning, Hilary Duff, Kelly Ripa, Tyra Banks, Mariah Carey, Rhianna, Mylie Cyrus and more.
